2022 is the year when sporting events returned with much needed regularity and athletes made their way back into the event circuit. There was a cautious optimism, with many athletes finally taking the leap to begin training for events that would actually take place after the uncertain years of COVID outbreaks.
As the year progressed each event captured more and more of the confidence and passion of the competitors and the industry shows real signs that it is on the road to real recovery.
Winning this award means a lot and I would like to thank all of the people that voted and backed my work.
